Wax is Dead

This was used on my Millennium Puma. For those who don't know they are bright yellow - although over time they become several different shades of bright yellow. It has been a while but I am delighted with this product. The colour stays nice and water just beads off it. An unexpected bonus is that I washed our other cars (which have not been treated) with the 'apple' car shampoo. They have come up really well and the road dirt just seems to drop off them.

We have been official Wax Is Dead installers and distributors since 2023, in that time not only have we seen the remarkable 2.0 series come to life, but we have asked for a detailing spray and got that too. We feel for the results we get, Wax is Dead cannot be beaten in its application, price point and most of all the deep lustre, uv resistant, super hydrophobic and slick finish it gives. Their range covers every application needed. We absolutely 100 💯 % recommend and stand by Wax is Dead.

Not a product review more of a reflection on service. I ordered products to keep my ceramic looking good and in tip top condition, I ensured to pay over the amount required to have free shipping but this was not the case and I was charged. I did make contact and was told it would be looked into and if in error a refund of shipping would be given. Now more than 10 days later nothing, no other response (after initial response) no refund of shipping and no explanation. I am now not expecting a refund as I will put this down to experience but by leaving a 1 star review will have a much higher impact as people will notice it more and may take note to look at the total price charged on their invoice and not what is advertised as being free. Sadly lesson learned. Update 11/04/2025 Today the postage was refunded after my email to them on the 18/07/2025. As this was not a review on the products but a review on service my rating will still stand at 1 star given the time taken to tell me it was an error.

Honestly, Wax is Dead blew us away. We wanted something simple but effective to keep our company vehicles looking sharp, and their ceramic coating delivered in spades. It’s got that gorgeous glossy finish, but the real win? Cleaning the cars has become an absolute breeze—it’s like dirt doesn’t even want to stick. Big shoutout to Mike (absolute legend, short and stocky) and Ollie (tall, handsome, and knows his stuff) for making it all so smooth and easy. If you want your cars to look mint, these are your people!

We brought our 1988 Mercedes with tired oxidised paint for the guys to check and see if they could help restore it to its former glory. Safe to say they succeeded and the car looks like its just rolled straight out of the show room.. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable explained the process ensuring we knew what was happening with the car. We were gob smacked when the car was revealed to us and the lads were as excited as us with the final product. 100% would recommend this paint correction and ceramic coating service.
