Excellent service. He checked our car within two hours of calling, took the time to investigate a worrying knocking noise properly, and resolved the issue quickly. He also pointed out a few other things to keep an eye on when we’re back home. Professional, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in his work. Highly recommended.

Dean is simply the best. The clutch of our Van was broken and he did an amazing job finding out what the problem was, ordering new parts and replacing them with the old ones as soon as possible. He is absolutely professional, he knows what he is doing more than anyone and he is super nice. There is no better place to go to when you have car problems on Isle of Skye or around. He also fixed tiny things that needed to be done and told us what we should watch out for in the future. Then he went above and beyond and even fixed another problem when we were already miles away. 10/10 would recommend. Can't thank this man enough for what he has done for us.

On holiday in Skye towing a caravan is not the time to have a car problem! But Dean knew straight away what needed to be done and though it was a Saturday and he couldn’t source the parts till Monday he prioritised the work, ordered what was needed, did the job first thing Monday morning and made sure we were able to continue our journey. He was an absolute star and we can’t praise him enough. He did an excellent job and even pointed out other things on the car that our regular mechanic had missed. We wish he lived nearer! Brilliant!! 👍💖

Dean kindly checked a ratting noise that I heard on my mini camper on a weekend when I was miles from home. Very thorough, friendly, professional advice. Completely put my mind at rest. Highly recommend.

When Mum's car failed us at the end of our holiday, we thought the journey home was going to be a pain. Dean stepped in, helped us over the phone so we could get the car started and get to him. Once there he really became our Hero of the Day and got us safely on the road... he even gave me a whole bunch of advice for minor problems I'm having with my car! I highly recommend Dean at Real Detail for his expertise, professionalism and empathy (not always a combination you find in that business!). Whether you live on Skye or are merely visiting and need anything car-related, he's absolutely the one to call. Insert all the stars here!
