I booked my car in with Sean around a month ago via WhatsApp. I had a quick response to my initial message and he advised me the recommended options for my Carbon Black BMW 550e. It was 18 months old with minor defects so a 2 day enhancement detail with a 5 year ceramic coating was chosen. When the day came I dropped the car off early morning and Sean got straight to work. I was constantly updated throughout that day with videos of the defects and the results after one hit on a test panel. Very consistent and clear communication which I can imagine wasn’t easy to find time to do when faced with completing a car of this size alone on a short time frame. What I never expected was the lengths Sean would go to ensure he met timescales. He worked an extraordinary amount of hours that day, with social media updates still coming well into the night. This really is testament to his work ethic and passion for detailing. The second day was mostly final prep and waiting for the coating to cure. When I collected the vehicle I was extremely excited as I had been given videos throughout which built up suspense. I arrived at the studio to Sean giving the car a final check. I can only describe the finish as stunning. He had clearly put in some serious effort; more than I could probably imagine. Despite only booking an exterior detail the interior had been refreshed and the wheels were also immaculate, something I didn’t expect given the task in hand. I am extremely grateful for his efforts and would use no one else going forward. I’ve already had people ask me who did the work which is testament to his quality and proves how reputation will secure further work. Thank you again MVD for a sterling job.

Came in today with a beginners knowledge of detailing and valeting and left with everything we needed to know from the basics to machine polishing and ceramic coatings. Sean showed us everything from top to bottom without missing out any details and always had time for questions and went at our pace. Left confident, happy and ready to get at customer cars. Sean aswell is a top trainer and has been in the industry for years. Cant think of anyone who would be a better trainer.

Just finished a whole day training with Sean and can honestly say we left no stone unturned. I’m a detailer and he tailored the course to exactly what I needed it to be and I’ve come out the other side confident, with a genuine understanding of everything he showed me and with new skills. From booking on a few weeks ago to finishing up yesterday, he was friendly, professional and engaging. He even sat down at the end of a very long day to share some tips on how to grow as a business. Can’t recommend enough, best money I’ve spent!

Genuinely can’t give Sean enough credit for how much he taught me in my detail what you bring day, didn’t know it was possible to learn so much in one day. I’ve never met someone who’s perfected his craft so well and so knowledgable in every single area of his craft and breaks everything down so well for you. Came into his studio this morning as a valeter and left as a detailer ready enter the paint correction game, had absolutely 0 Knowledge when it came to anything to do with paintwork and Sean showed me absolutely everything and not just skimming over things, as in depth as you can go in every area from preparation of the vehicle, to all the different polishers, different hardness of paint, pricing up work and literally everything you could think of. Even just things like writing everything down for me I need to start paint corrections and telling me to call him whenever I need, honestly what a guy man, it was a pleasure mate, thankyou for today🙌

After doing some research into local business that do ceramic coatings i contacted MVD. After making an enquiry, Sean got in touch and was asking me questions about what I wanted so he could recommend the best service for me, it's sounds simple stuff but this is the 1st time anyone else had done this as oppose to just trying to rinse as much money as they can out of it. Am very particular to who I leave my car with unattended but Sean demeanor and portfolio of previous work put me at ease. He was accommodating to be flexible in my needs of dropping the car off & collecting which just makes dealing with MVD alot more smoother. I was kept updated throughout the process and the end results are just on another level. The car looks box fresh. A no nonsense company that delivers exceptional value on what they offer.

If I could rate higher than 5 I genuinely would. Had my car in for a Full days work with Sean and Cameron doing what they could with 12 year/110k mile paint. The black was almost grey, deep scratches and swirls all around the car and generally what I would’ve said was paint with no hope in saving… Sean and Cam not only transformed the car, they completely blew me away on the exceptional level of professionalism and quality of work. I would have 0 hesitation to return to Sean and Cameron at McCartney Valeting and Detailing in the future should I ever require their services. True gentlemen in person and an absolute hidden gem in the Valeting/Detailing trade. Attached below are photos and videos from before/after showing the sheer transformation these lads carried out. 10/10
