I wasn’t going to leave a review, but I feel people should be aware of my experience. There were several issues with the valet: 1. Price change on arrival – We agreed in advance on the “Chrome” valet package from his website for £120 (screenshot attached). He didn’t ask for any photos of the car’s condition beforehand. Once he arrived and started the job, he said it was “too much work” and added an extra £30. 2. Poor quality of work – At first glance it looked okay, but on closer inspection the quality was disappointing. The carpets around the front seats were not properly cleaned, the door shuts were only cleaned at the bottom, and the steering column stalks were the worst part: one was cleaned and the rest were left untouched (see photo). 3. Advertised services not done – The package clearly included exterior machine polishing, but nothing was machine polished. Update: Gareth said he wanted to rectify, but then came back saying I've contacted too late and it is my fault. Don't want to repeat myself, i'm attaching the conversation, you can make your own conclusions.

I had a chrome valets done on 2 cars. Great price and great job done. A good few hours were spent on them and on my street. Great service, I would highly recommend 👌

I cannot rate Gareth highly enough. After a disaster with a 5 Litre tin of paint which burst in my boot, I called Eye4Detail in a panic. I literally did not know where to start in cleaning up the mess. Every small attempt I made was just increasing the paint transfer to the driveway, my clothes and all through the house. Gareth arrived within 15 minutes of my call and stayed for 2 hours, even after dark. He then arranged to come back in his next available slot and stayed a further 3 hours. He had even purchased a set of portable floodlights to help him work longer on the car. Sadly the damage to my car is so bad that it will need further work which the insurance firm have sanctioned. Gareth was able to advise me on next steps in this process and the areas in the car interior he felt could have been damaged, that were not visible to view. A real gold standard service.
