Didn't have the best start with 1st Choice. Overall powder coating came out top quality. Entrance of the place doesn't feel so welcoming. Staff polite, but very much work orientated, not much for small talk. (Not necessarily a negative). Emailed them, was told to drop off trailing arms any time. Which I did, then I dropped some other bits down two days later, to find out it would take a couple/few weeks to complete but no mention in the prior emails, or on arrival of the first drop. I emailed raising my concerns and Mike apologised. Further explained that was the waiting time frame due to other commitments. It was mentioned they'd get them done mid next week, in which to my surprise they were done Monday. Went to pick them up and they did them in satin black rather than gloss black as requested on work ticket. They did however correct there mistake and they were with me the day after. This doesn't stop me from taking more stuff there because I liked the quality. I will ask going forward how long things will take before committing. This was some what of my failure for not asking. They don't accept card or at least didn't for me. I would have given a 3.5 rating but am unable to, but they are not quite yet a 4 star to me but this is subject to change on further work that'll potentially end up with them.

Outstanding service. Had a stainless steel external flue fitted, regretted it and wish I had selected black. Took it down and had it powder blasted matt black. Looks great, amazing finish and it was turned around in 2-3 working days. Competitive price. Highly recommend. I believe they do work for Stovax Stoves, so they clearly know what they are doing.

Took some rusty garden railings and gates in for shot blasting and powder coating. Delighted with the results, they look brand new! Really friendly bunch of guys. Excellent service and competitively priced. Highly recommended.
